Water-based acrylic varnish „Supi Saunasuoja“ 0,9 L

Application conditions
The surface to be coated must be clean and dry. The ambient temperature must be at least +5 °C, the relative humidity must
not exceed 80%.

Surface preparation
New wooden surface
Remove dirt and dust. Lightly moisten by spraying with water. Allow to dry and sand to remove chips.
Remove sanding dust.

Old dirty or previously treated surfaces, e.g. with this product
Wash with detergent "Supi Saunapesu" according to the instructions, rinse thoroughly with water and allow to dry. If necessary, sand the surface
and remove sanding dust.

Application
Stir well before use and also stir during application.

Apply 1 coat of colored or uncolored product to the steam room walls. Thin with water if necessary.
You can also apply 2 coats of the colored product diluted with water (use 50% water by volume). This will make brush marks less noticeable.

Apply 2 coats to wooden surfaces in washrooms and changing rooms. When applying the first coat, dilute the colored product with water (use approximately 20% water by volume). Only dilute the uncolored product if necessary.

Test the colored product in an inconspicuous area first to make sure the color is suitable. When diluted, the color becomes slightly lighter and more transparent than shown in the color chart. The final color depends on the properties of the wood and the products used previously. To ensure an even color, cover a small area all at once; if it is a large area covered with siding, cover 1-2 sidings at once.

Note
Before using the sauna, heat up and ventilate well.

Cleaning tools
Wash tools with soap and water. To remove hardened paint from tools, Tikkurila Pensselipesu (tool cleaner) is recommended. Wash with soap and water. Clean slightly hardened product with Pensselipesu tool cleaner.

Surface care
If necessary, the surface can be cleaned after a month (not earlier).
Wash with Supi Saunapesu detergent (0.1–0.2 l of detergent diluted in 5 l of water).

Environment and waste management
Do not allow to enter drains, surface and groundwater or soil. Product residues must be disposed of in accordance with the requirements of waste management legislation. Empty and dry packaging should be recycled or disposed of in accordance with the requirements of waste management legislation.
